Taylor Allesch
Hi, I'm Taylor! Have you ever felt broken? Terrified something was wrong with you? I have heard or seen some version of this in my office time and time again. I have discovered that sexual health concerns, trauma, and relationship stressors hold such a unique power to make us believe that there is something inherently wrong with us. That we are broken beyond repair. I am here to help you heal. You are not broken. You are whole, even when you don’t feel it. Together, we’ll explore your journey to a more compassionate and empowered version of yourself.
Although I work with all of those seeking to explore their mental health, I specialize in trauma work, including sexual trauma and religious trauma, as well as sexual health concerns, such as sexual pain, low desire, and out-of-control sexual behavior. Lastly, I work with all forms of relationships as well as those facing relationship challenges.
I am trained in and primarily use both EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), two powerful, evidence-based approaches to healing. With EMDR, we work to process trauma memories, fears, and the deeply rooted core beliefs that often follow—like “I’m not enough” or “I’m unlovable”—in a way that feels contained, safe, and transformative. Through IFS, we explore the different parts of you that have taken on roles to protect or cope—whether through shutting down, people-pleasing, or pushing through pain. Rather than pathologizing these parts, we bring curiosity and compassion to them, helping you reconnect with your inner Self and access more calm, clarity, and confidence.
In my work with couples, I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method, and parts work to help partners understand their patterns, repair disconnection, and foster deeper emotional intimacy. I also approach relationships through a systemic lens—exploring not only what's happening between partners, but also how cultural, familial, and societal narratives shape the way we relate to ourselves and each other.
I understand how overwhelming it can feel to carry trauma, shame, or confusion. You don't have to navigate this journey alone. Together, we can explore your experiences, find healing, and restore compassion for yourself. Reach out, and let’s begin the process of understanding and healing—one step at a time. You are worthy of this"
