Taylor Allesch
Hi, I'm Taylor! Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when anxiety is part of your story. I get it—I’ve been there. If you add sex therapy to the mix, it might feel even more intimidating. Sex is supposed to be a source of connection and joy, yet for many, it brings shame, anxiety, and discomfort. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable exploring these topics without judgment, whether it’s your first counseling session or your fiftieth. I’ll meet you where you are, respecting your autonomy and honoring the strengths you bring into the room.
I work with individuals and couples navigating all kinds of challenges, from trauma and anxiety to relationship concerns and sexual health issues. Whether you and your partner are struggling with mismatched desire, you’re a teen or young adult feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, or you’re processing trauma, you don’t have to do it alone. With training in EMDR and a trauma-focused lens, I especially love working with trauma survivors and individuals dealing with out-of-control sexual behaviors. I’ll help you connect to your story, reclaim your strength, and move toward healing and connection.
I believe in the power of mind-body connection and incorporate somatic interventions into my work. Our mental and physical health are deeply intertwined, and together we can explore how they show up in your life and relationships. Above all, my goal is to create an affirming, shame-free space where you can be fully seen and heard.
