Welcome to Be Known, where virtual relationship therapy offers a supportive space to slow down, reconnect, and understand each other more deeply. Whether you’re feeling disconnected from your partner, working through conflict or resentment, rebuilding trust after infidelity, or wanting to bring more intimacy, playfulness, and connection into your relationship, therapy can help you create something that feels more fulfilling and secure. We work entirely online, making it so we can support residents of Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Minnesota, Florida, North Carolina, and Colorado.
Relationships are complex, and even the healthiest partnerships can encounter challenges. Relationship therapy is a collaborative process designed to help partners improve communication, resolve conflicts, and deepen their emotional connection. At Be Known, we provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for you and your partner(s) to navigate concerns, whether you’re facing everyday stressors or more significant hurdles.

Relationship therapy is for any partnership (couple, triad, polycule, etc.) seeking to strengthen their connection. Whether you’re struggling with communication breakdowns, trust issues, intimacy challenges, or navigating transitions like marriage, parenting, or separation, we’re here to help.
Common reasons people seek relationship therapy include:
> Difficulty communicating effectively
> Rebuilding trust after infidelity
> Desire differences or intimacy concerns
> Managing life transitions together
> Conflict resolution and emotional connection
> Exploring non-traditional relationship dynamics like ethical non-monogamy
> Supporting LGBTQIA+ and neurodiverse relationships
No matter where you’re starting, our approach focuses on fostering understanding, connection, and practical solutions tailored to your unique situation.
Sex therapy at Be Known is a collaborative, structured process that mirrors traditional talk therapy in many ways while focusing on sexual and relational well-being. Sessions are about 50 minutes long and designed to help you address your specific concerns, set meaningful goals, and discover tools to work through them effectively. Our first three sessions follow a structured process to set expectations, understand your background, and establish actionable goals:

During your initial session, we’ll set expectations for therapy and discuss what brings you in. You’ll have space to share your concerns, and your therapist will begin gathering background information to understand your unique situation.

You’ll complete a sexual history assessment to provide your therapist with a detailed picture of your personal history and experiences. If you’re attending as a couple, your therapist will meet with each of you individually to review these assessments.

In the third session, your therapist will share their initial impressions based on the assessments and collaborate with you to create tailored goals for therapy. If you’re a couple, everyone will meet together to ensure the goals reflect your shared needs and individual desires.
These goals will guide the rest of your therapy journey as we explore practical tools, research-based insights, coping strategies, and more to help you heal and grow.
